A manufacturer specializing in high-precision flat stock plates made from D2 steel, stainless steel, and carbon steel was facing multiple operational issues caused by a semi-synthetic machining fluid.

Collaborating closely with the plant’s engineering team, we launched a 6-month trial comparing Cutrite 3398 to the customer’s current existing fluid. The assessment focused on three key aspects: blade life, fluid consumption, and operator feedback.
